Darrin and Mimi exchange vows at the Venice Restaurant, Brisbane

The weather wasn't kind to us but the look of love between Mimi and Darrin brought the sun out.  With such a beautiful setting beside the Brisbane River, the Venice Restaurant pulled out all stops to make the exchange of vows between Mimi and Darrin a memorable and beautiful occasion.  The beautiful music played by Harpist, Janice Preece, set the romantic feeling that moved through the ceremony.  The traditional words they chose gave greater depth of meaning when they exchanged their vows, they chose to complete their ceremony with a Sand Ceremony, pouring the sand into one vase symbolising the joining together of their lives (we had fun rehearsing the Sand Ceremony with white and raw sugar - like a sweet rehearsal!).
